Beginner/Intermediate Hatha Yoga Group Class

Looking for stress-relief, flexibility and balance? 

This class is for you. 

Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and treat them with care and respect.

Class consists of breathing techniques, centering, asanas (specific yoga postures), ending with savasana (deep relaxation).

 

Emphasis is on proper alignment and breathing for safe practice.

 

Held Tuesday at 9am at The Ommani Center for Integrative Medicine in Pewaukee. 

Cost is $13/class. (bring cash or check).

Class size is limited to 9 students. (Please book your spot if interested).

Individual Therapeutic Yoga

Shelley blends her PT knowledge with the wisdom of yoga to create a personalized healing practice for your specific needs.

An individual session or series is ideal if you currently have, or are recovering from an injury, illness or chronic condition.

It is also helpful if you would like individual attention to ensure proper alignment, safe practice and understanding.

Your session includes written instructions for a home practice designed specifically for you.

Cost:      $85 for an hour-long session.

When you meet with Shelley, you will discuss your current health issues, areas of pain, tightness, emotional stress, lifestyle and goals. 

She will analyze your postural alignment and movement while guiding you through a gentle practice.

Props such as blankets, yoga blocks, yoga strap and/or a chair are used to ensure that all positions are comfortable for you and allow you to use proper alignment for safe practice.

Breathwork is an integral part of the practice that Shelley will design for you.

Breathing techniques are highly effective in promoting relaxation, and allowing prana (life energy, also known as ki or chi) to move freely through your body to maximize your self-healing ability.
